  I am a 57 year old professional male who has suffered from chronic depression since my late teens. I have been treated with psychoanalytic, psychotherapy, and perhaps 15-30 different medications. In addition because at times the depression was unbearable I periodically abused nearly every type of drug available. Including prescription opiates in doses 10-20 times the prescribed dose. After receiving ketamine treatment at Trifecta Medical I no longer suffer with severe depression. I function at a level that was impossible while depressed. My personal, professional, and life in general has dramatically improved. I had lost all hope years ago and were it not for the pain it would cause my family, would have gladly ended my life. Ketamine does not produce a high or euphoria like many drugs, it does not bring happiness and complete contentment. But it did eliminate my lifelong suffering and need to self medicate. It simply after a period of time eliminates depression. The staff, from both doctors to the two doctor assistants that monitor the treatments to the receptionist are without a doubt the nicest, most competent, sincerely concerned group I have ever encountered. I have seen dozens in my lifetime and truly have never encountered the level of care I receive at Trifecta. In addition, I researched other options and Trifecta is the most reasonably priced in NYC.   In my job I cannot make mistakes. I was constantly terrified that I am not paying attention at work. The effort of screaming "pay attention" silently in my mind was also killing my concentration and work productivity. Dr. Fruitman at trifecta health found the right medicine. I feel better at work, calmer, more focused.
