- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Office is a scam. Came in for a contact lens fitting. Was told the price, 150, not covered under insurance, seemed fine. Did the exam, got contacts, then they hit me with a 189$ deductible payment later for a comprehensive eye exam they performed but never told me about. I was never informed that I'd have this extra payment or that they were performing this service for me. I came in for a contact lens exam! This is unacceptable and highway robbery! EDIT: Someone called me and I received a refund shortly after I paid and left the office. I've updated to 3 stars from 1.March 03, 2017by Kevin Qiu
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Terrible. First off, they are not even at the 10 Downing location anymore and the receptionist didn't bother to tell me that when I made an emergency appointment to see a doctor. So I rush to get there only to realize I have to take a cab to get to the actual location. Then the doctor says they will send the prescription to my pharmacy, later that day when I check with the pharmacy they say they have no record of it and when I call NY Vision Group, they are already closed at 4pm on a Friday. So that means I have to suffer all weekend, which is what I was trying to avoid by rushing to get there today. Not to mention they had typos on their new client application form!
